I have started this blog to help us all review and share information on the cruise and not clog up our e-mail boxes too badly.
This picture is of the room with the 2 beds and the couchette. The first bed to the left actually has a nightstand between it and the wall (with the lamp). There is also a nightstand between the 2 beds. As you can see, between bed 2 and the couchette there is no extra space. With 3 in the room, the order will be: bed #1 up against the wall, nightstand #1, bed #2, nightstand #2, and then the couchette. It will be tight but cozy.

I obviously still need to set the clock for the right time zone! We can play with this and see how we want to set it up as we go along. It will give all of us a chance to do some blogging and get some experience!

I am a blog virgin no longer!! As I was looking at the picture and reading I thought we could push bed #1 against the wall and use that nightstand as a separator between bed #2 and the couchette. Then I read further and saw that you had already reached that conclusion. I think it will be fine. I'm really get excited. 102 days until I leave to meet Betty in CT!!
You all may get tired of this Chatty Cathy that I fear I'm turning into! I got an email from Southwest Airlines that they are having a $49-$99 one-way fare sale. I saw that you could travel up until some time in June! Well, I broke all land-speed records looking up the fare from MCI to BDL. I was ready to buy! Imagine my surprise when the one-way fare came up as $186! Then I read the small print--good on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only!! I'll keep looking.
I have been having a heck of a time adding a comment. already had a google account but couldn't remember the password so had to get all of that straighten out. GEEZ! Anyway, a pre-ordered a book on European Cruising by Fodor's. It was shipped today - hopefully, it will provide some good pointers!Will let ya'll know once I get it.

"United Airlines will begin charging some pasengers $25 to check a second piece of luggage.
The charge will be applied to customers who buy nonrefundable domestic economy tickets who aren't members of the airline's frequent flier program or a similar plan at one of its airline market partners. The policy takes effect May 5."
